Zekson Tan | 陈迦笙

Zekson Tan is one of the 14 Citizen Reviewers selected from the 2016 Open Call application. He has been invited to continue on in the 2017 cycle.

Besides being a graduand of Creative Industry Management Degree from University of Essex, UK and Diploma in Arts Management (Performing Arts) from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Zekson was a choir member and a vocal percussionist of an a-cappella group before he began his exploration of managing performing arts production. He is not only a concertgoer, but also an avid audience of different production such as theatre, opera, musical and dance performance. He believes an outstanding performance comprises the involvement of performers, backstage team and the audience. By reviewing from the audience point of view, Zekson hopes he can share his thoughts and beliefs regarding performance and performing arts with others.

迦笙毕业于英国艾塞克斯大学的创意产业管理荣誉学士课程。在这之前，迦笙曾于南艺修读艺术管理系专业文凭课程，並主修表演艺术。在他正式接触艺术管理与幕后制作之前，迦笙曾是一位合唱团团员以及阿卡贝拉组合的人声打击乐手。除了热衷于出席音乐会，他对舞台剧、歌剧、音乐剧和舞蹈等不同类型的演出都抱着极大的热忱和兴趣。迦笙始终相信表演者、幕后团队和观众是构成一场精彩演出的必要元素，且缺一不可。希望藉由以观众的角度为出发点的浅见和评语，迦笙能够和别人分享他对演出和表演艺术的想法与感受。
