Edward Eng

Edward Eng is one of the five Citizen Reviewers selected from the 2019 Open Call application.

Edward is a playwright whose work has been performed locally as well as in China and across the UK. He read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at university and is interested in using the lenses he has picked up there to celebrate the nooks and crannies of Singapore theatre.

Aside from the theatre, he spends much of his disposable income on hiking, skiing and brutal Korean movies. He also really, really, really loves nasi lemak.

At the time of writing, he would like to see a collaboration between Kuo Pao Kun, Frantic Assembly and Amateur Takes Control.
